    Hi All,

It’s all very interesting but since I found this out a number of years ago I’ve been considering whether, in fact, it’s much less now that we have the internet amongst us.

Now, imagine my amazement only yesterday when I accepted an invitation to connect with an existing contact on another networking site to find that little ol’ me is only 2degrees away from Barack Obama…didn’t he do well to get so close! Lol!!

Have a great weekend y’all, Lesley

Yes technology has made the world a lot smaller, and in places like Scotland, many people find they are connected by only a few intermediaries. I have found this to be very true while networking and socialising. I meet people all the time who live near where I grew up, or know someone I know, etc.

The founders of 6dn thought the name was appropriate as they believe the network could eventually give members referrals to potential customers that would otherwise be impossible, especially those in the high places. If we grow membership globally the opportunities for this to happen will increase.
